Action Summary
Strengthening tourism entrepreneurship through the creation of new micro, small and medium enterprises in selected tourism BAC(s).

The eligible budget of each investment plan ranges from 80.000€ to 400.000€.
Financial support will be granted at a rate of 45% of the costs submitted.
The aid percentage may be increased by (a) 10% if the investment takes place in a distant or fire-affected or flood-prone area or small islands and (b) an additional 5% if the employment target of at least 0.2 FTE is met in the first year after completion of the investment.
The implementation period of the investment plan’s physical and financial objectives is strictly limited to 24 months, with no possibility of extension.
Who is eligible
The Action concerns the strengthening of tourism entrepreneurship through the creation of new micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in selected tourism Business Activity Codes.
Under establishment: Businesses that will be established following and the date of publication of the Call.
Newly established: Businesses that have been established where 12 months of continuous operation have not elapsed between the date of establishment of the business and the date of publication of the Call.
Prerequisites
The key requirements for the participation of the potential beneficiaries are:
To invest exclusively in one Region.
To operate exclusively in eligible BAC(s).
To provide precise information and data on the location of the investment site on a specific property (land, building or other type of independent site).
To have an approved building permit or at least an application for such a permit in the case of construction and completion of buildings, as of the date of commencement of online submission specified in the call for applications.
Provide documentation regarding the rights of use (ownership, usufruct, lease) they hold on the property.
To provide a Land Use Certificate for the site of the investment.
To provide evidence of their ability to cover the amount of the Individual Contribution according to the percentage specified on the detailed invitation.
To be eligible for the application of Reg. EU 1407/2013 (De Minimis) on which the Action relies

MAIN HOTEL ESTABLISHMENTS
Hotels (“Category 4****” (four-star hotels) and above, Capacity Twelve (12) beds and above)
Tourist hotel establishments within traditional buildings referred in p.d. 33/1979
Organized campsites (Classified in category 3*** (three stars) and above)
NON-PRINCIPAL HOTEL ESTABLISHMENTS
Self-catering establishments – Tourist furnished holiday homes Minimum number of establishments: Three (3) in the same MHTE
Rooms to let – Furnished apartments (Classified in category 4 keys and above, minimum capacity Twelve (12) beds)
